The ‘service’ item enables one of the two management typology, Cisco or classic; the other
parameters have the meaning described in 2.2.5.3 Fault management protocols.

In the above example, the pvc is associated to the traffic descriptor 1.
4.5.2.10.4 IWF
The “iwf” menu allows mapping the DLCI frame relays (previously created) to ATM PVCs
(previously created). The mapping can be one to one, that is one DLCI FR on one ATM PVC or
more DLCI FR on one PVC ATM (many to one). Inserting the iwf command followed by the
endpoint frame relay and by the pvc atm, it is possible to modify an existing iwf or to create a new
one. The “iwf” section deals also with the passing of the atm parameters to frame relay and
viceversa. It is possible to force the “CLP (Cell Loss Priority)” value in mapping on “DE (Discard
Elegibility)” and viceversa. It is also possible to manage the two transmission modalities: NIW
(Network Interworking) and SIW (Service Interworking) and, in all the cases, to manage the LIV
(Link Integrity Verification) signaling in mode analogous to what made by the other network nodes
and in line with the access router.
