It is better to associate ALWAYS a new traffic descriptor to each created pvc, because it could be
necessary to change a parameter in the already used traffic descriptor. This should cause the
change of this parameter in all the pvc associated to the above mentioned traffic descriptor.
The commands associated to iwf menu are:
admin
It allows setting the connection up or down
connection
It allows defining the mapping of the frame relay parameters on pvc.
descriptor_index
It allows the modification of the parameters of the mapping of DLCI on pvc.
managed
It enables the transmission of the signaling cells (Link Integrity Verification - OAM) on the
selected pvc.
nomanaged
It disables the transmission of the signaling cells (Link Integrity Verification - OAM) on the
selected pvc through the iwf, where you entered.
show
It displays all the iwf present in the alyseo configuration.
delete
It allows to delete an iwf (first you must set it to “down” status by the command “admin” seen
before).
Come back to the items of ”configure” menu:
no
It opens the no submenu
Alyseo106 configure > no (‘?’)
iwf
Delete IWF connection
endpoint
Delete Frame Relay endpoint
pvc
Delete PVC
by means of the commands of the negation submenu, it is possible to remove the endpoint, the iwf
functions and the previously created pvc’s.
cntrl
It changes level and allows adjusting the access to Alyseo 106 from outside.
