BREAK-IN PERIOD
Operation During Break-In
NOTICE
Carefully follow the in-
structions in this section. Failure to
do so may reduce the life and/or per-
formance of the engines.
A break-in period of 10 hours is re-
quired for each engine before continu-
ous operation at full throttle.
To achieve a good break-in, a maxi-
mum of 3/4 throttle should be ob-
served, however, brief acceleration
and speed variations contribute to a
good break-in.
NOTICE
Continued
wide
open
throttle runs and prolonged cruis-
ing without speed variations should
be avoided. This can cause engine
damage during the break-in period.
