WEEDLESS SYSTEM CYCLING
Towing the Boat in Water
Special precautions should be taken
when towing a Sea-Doo boat in water.
Maximum
recommended
towing
speed is 24 km/h (15 MPH).
Install the hose pinchers on the ex-
haust manifold water outlet hoses as
shown for each engine.

TYPICAL
1. Install hose pincher here
NOTICE
When
finished
towing
the boat, hose pinchers must be re-
moved before operation. Failure to
do so will result in engines damage.
When towing your boat in water, pinch
the exhaust manifold water outlet
hose on each engine with a LARGE
HOSE PINCHER (P/N 529 032 500).
5290325002
This will prevent the exhaust systems
from filling which may lead to water
being injected into the engines. With-
out the engines running there isn't any
exhaust pressure to carry the water
out the exhaust outlet.
NOTICE
Failure to do this may re-
sult in damage to the engines. If
your Sea-Doo boats must be towed
in water and you do not have hose
pinchers, be sure to stay well be-
low the maximum towing speed of
24 km/h (15 MPH).
Capsized Boat
This boat is designed so that it should
not turn over easily due to its long and
wide dimensions. If the boat ever cap-
sizes, remember that it will continue to
float. It is usually best to remain with
it so you will be more easily located by
others.
WARNING
When boat is capsized, do not at-
tempt to restart the engines. Op-
erator
and
passengers
should
always wear approved personal
flotation devices.
Submerged Boat and
Water-Flooded Engine
To limit damages to the engines, per-
form the following procedure as soon
as possible.
Drain bilge.
If it was submerged in
salt water
,
spray bilge and all components with
fresh water using a garden hose to
stop the salt corrosive effect.
