8.0 Built-in Tools accessed using the program

The  Mach-DSP  servo  includes  a  variety  of  tools  that  are  built  in,  which  help  to
characterize and optimize performance. These tools can be found in the Tools menu in
the  Mach-DSP  program.  The  tools  are  described  below.  Each  tool  occupies  its  own
window.  Multiple  tool  windows  can  be  opened,  and  these  windows  can  be  moved
around on the screen, and may overlap in any way desired.

Test signal (function) generator

The Mach-DSP includes a Test Signal Generator, which may be used as a signal
source during scanner tuning as well as other purposes. The Test Signal Generator is
accessed using the Tools menu as shown below.
