LED3 will illuminate red whenever TTL Output 2 is
active

Error Indications
Note that in addition to their roles of indicating communication and servo activity, LED1
and LED2 are also used together to indicate when faults occur during the operation of
the Mach-DSP. Faults are indicated by LED1 and LED2 flashing back and forth, in a
kind of railroad-crossing manner. The number of back-and-forth flashes will indicate the
error number in accordance with the table below.
