8.4 Starting the AUDIO reporting
Only events from the control panel connected to the telephone line output can be sent
over the AUDIO link. Events related to the GSM module can not be sent in this way.
Enable the "Monitoring" option.
Disable the "Events buffer" option if it is enabled.
Select AUDIO as the reporting link (see: "Links to MS1 / Links to MS2" p. 42).
Enter the telephone number for AUDIO reporting (see: "MS1 tel.number / MS2 tel.number"
p. 43).
Enable the "GSM main line" option (see: p. 28).
8.5 Starting the event reporting over several links
If the events are to be sent using various ways of transmission or two SIM cards (in the case
of GSM-5 module), do the following:
1. Program the reporting parameters for each of the selected links, as described in previous
sections.
2. Define priorities for the selected reporting links (see: "Links to MS1 / Links to MS2" p. 42).
3. In the case of GSM-5 module, if two SIM cards are used, program the blocking time (see:
p. 32) and switch time (see: p. 32) as required.
4. Program the number of failed retries to send the event over selected reporting link, after
which the module will make an attempt to send it over the next link (see: "Attempts/link"
p. 41).
9. Starting the messaging
The module offers the following forms of messaging:
voice – the voice messaging can be realized if the SM-2 voice synthesizer is connected to
the module, because the module provides information about the event by means of a voice
message recorded in the synthesizer.
SMS – the module provides information about the event by means of an SMS message
programmed in the module.
CLIP – the module provides information about the event calling the programmed telephone
numbers and hanging up automatically after maximum 50 seconds. The CLIP allows toll-
free messaging. The displayed module telephone number is to be considered as
notification of the event.
In order to start the messaging you must enter the telephone numbers which will be notified
by the module (see: "Tel.1–4 for mess." p. 38).
9.1 Starting the voice messaging
1. Record in the SM-2 voice synthesizer the voice message which is to be used for
messaging.
2. Specify if the voice message is to be played back 1 or 2 times for the given telephone
number (see: "Mess.x2 for t.1–4" p. 39).
3. Define, as required, the rules for messaging about module related events (see
"Assignment of events" p. 39).
4. If several different events can result in triggering the voice messaging, you can enable the
"Mess. sounds" (see: p. 37) option to get additional information on the event.
