5.1.4  General operating notes 

 
All terms used in the masks are in English. In the description, the relevant 

English expression

 or display text is 

shown in a different font.  
 
A submask can be left on several ways, which are displayed in the lower mask area, e.g.

Using the automatic repeat function of the keyboard can cause a crash of the terminal emulation program. 
Remedial action in case of trouble:  
 
1. Close the terminal emulation program under Windows. 
2.  Open the  terminal emulation program under Windows. 
3.  Reactivate the communication with [Setup]-[Serial Ports]-[Operator device at] and select the interface , e.g. 

[Builtin].
