VT-100 UTILITY CONFIGURATION

.5.2.3 Expand Raid Set

Instead of deleting a raid set and recreating it with additional

disk drives, the “Expand Raid Set” function allows the users to

add disk drive to the raid set that was created.

To expand a raid set:

Click on “Expand Raid Set” option. If there is an available disk,

then the “Select IDE Drives For Raid Set Expansion” screen ap-

pears. Select the target raid set by clicking on the appropriate

radial button. Select the target disk by clicking on the appropri-

ate check controller. Press

Yes

to start expand the raid set.

The new add capacity will be define one or more volume sets.

Follow the instruction presented in the “Volume Set Function” to

create the volume set.
