Before You Call Service Center

If the system malfunctions, please check the following list first and then call the SEC
agency where you bought the product or the nearest SEC service center.
Symptom
- Unable to supply power.
- The POWER LED in front of the
system remains off and the system
is not running
- Power on but no image.
- Power on but all blue screen after
system booting
- Power on but no further progress than
system booting screen
- Pressing the Menu button fails to dis
play MENU but “Setup Not Found”
message
- Good screen but no sound
- No recording
- No recording progresses though you
press the RECORD button (
)
Check Points
- Power cable connection in the back of the system,
power supply, and power switch
- Power cable connection and power supply of the system
and monitor
- Connection between camera output port and system video
signal input port and connection between monitor video sig
nal input port and system video signal output port
- Camera output
- BNC cable connected to the system
- No check point. Request for inspection and repair.
- No check point. Request for inspection and repair.
- Connection between such audio signal output device as
microphone and system audio signal input port and con
nection between monitor audio signal input port and sys
tem audio signal output port
- Audio signal output device output
- Cable
- Camera output port because the system proceeds with
recording without input signal connection.
- Disk space from DISK REMAIN in the SYSTEM SETUP
menu.
- If you wish to carry on recording at this point, you shall
set DISK END MODE in the RECORD MODE SETUP
menu to CONTINUE and press the RECORD button
( ).
- If you wish to carry on recording while DISK END
MODE is set to STOP, you shall set CLEAR ALL DATA
in the SYSTEM SETUP menu to ON and terminate the
menu. Then, all the existing data will be cleared and if
you press the RECORD button( ), the system will
start recording. However, be sure to check before you
click CLEAR ALL DATA because the data will not be
retrieved once cleared.
Symptom
- No sound during replay
- Screen trembling during replay
- Misalignment between audio
image and video image during
replay
Check Points
- As far as AUDIO RECORD in the RECORD MODE
SETUP menu is set to OFF, only video data is
recorded. If you want to record both video and audio
data, set it to ON.
- No sound is available in the Still, Fast, and Slow replay
mode
- Trembling during replay, fast or slow in recording mode
is a normal phenomenon.
