Basic Recording

PANIC (Emergency Recording)
Press the recording button( ) to recorded the currently incoming video images.
Then the recording button( ) is turned on and the
●
recording mark appears
in the screen. HDD Then LED will twinkle to indicate something is being recorded in
the HDD. During PANIC process, the recording quality will be seen as STANDARD
and the recording rate will be seen as 25 lPS in the Simplex setup and 12.5 lPS in
the Duplex setup.
TIMER Recording
You are able to input a weekday or time for timer recording in the TIMER RECORD
SETUP menu. Owing to this function, recording will automatically start on the week-
day for the time as preset by you.
MOTION DETECTION Recording
You may set the system to start recording in the ALARM IN/MOTION DETECTION
SETUP menu upon detecting any movement in the channel or area preset in the
menu. Once recording starts, the following screen pops up.
REC (General Recording)
General items will be set up at NORMAL RECORD SETUP in the RECORD MODE
SETUP menu. If you press the RECORD( ) button, recording will start with the
following message to indicate recording has set out.

- If the system is set to SIMPLEX, recording is not available in the PLAYBACK screen.
- Pressing the RECORD button( ) can not start recording as far as the user
stays in the menu. You shall escape from the menu first and press the RECORD but
ton to start recording.
