The work described in this section is only to
be performed by personnel appropriately
qualified to carry out such tasks.
Risk of fatal injury due to the ignition of an
explosive atmosphere.

Installation, operation or maintenance of
the differential pressure meter must only
be performed by personnel with
qualifications according to Clause 4.5 of
IEC 60079-14 who has undergone
special training or instructions or who is
authorized to work on explosion-
protected devices in hazardous areas.
Risk of personal injury due to process me-
dium escaping from a damaged dp cell.

Only use process media which, accord -
ing to their properties, are compatible
with the materials used in the device.
Î
Observe the material numbers listed in
the technical data as well as the material
safety data sheets (MSDS) of the process
media.
Risk of dp cell damage due to unsuitable
medium properties.
Î
Only use process media suitable for the
device version according to the article
code (see the 'Markings on the device'
section).
Risk of damage to the dp cell due to
incorrect use of oxygen .
Î
When the device is used for oxygen
service, only allow the dp cell and any
SAMSON accessories (e.g. valve block)
to come into contact with gaseous
oxygen .
Î
Do not allow the oxygen pressure to
exceed the maximum permissible limit of
50 bar.
