Switching the appliance on
Switch on the local electrical main switch.
In the display
−
the version number and the type number of the control will briefly be displayed.
−
three dots are illuminated.
Press the "on/off" key
and hold down for 3 seconds.
The setpoint temperature is briefly shown on the right display, after this the number of the "product
key".
The cooking time is shown on the left display
To avoid a high temperature load of the cooking oil/fat during the heating-up process, the control only
automatically switches to the full heating capacity after attainment of a fat temperature of approx. 90
°
C.

Selecting time and temperature via the "product key"
For an overview of the stored times and temperatures, refer to page 53 chapter 7.1
7.3.1
Selecting and starting time and setpoint temperature via the number of the "product
key"
Select the number for the "product key" by pressing the keys 1 to 4: E.g.
−
for products1-4, press the key "1, 2, 3 or 4" or
−
for products with two-digit numbers, e.g. "product key" "12", press key 1 and immediately after that
key 2.
The display for "time" and "product key number" briefly goes off.
The setpoint temperature for the "product key" is displayed for approx 1 second.
The time is briefly shown on the left display, the number of the "product key" on the right display.
Press the "START/STOP"
key.
The indicator light in key "START/STOP" flashes.
The time runs down.
Except when the automatic basket lift is switched on: The control waits before it runs down the time
and lowers the basket lift if
−
the actual temperature is by more than 5
°
C lower than the setpoint temperature, or
−
the actual temperature is by more than 30
°
C higher than the setpoint temperature.
−
Once the setpoint temperature has been reached, the frying basket is automatically lowered into the
bowl and the time runs down.
After expiry of the time, an acoustic signal is output.
Appliance with switched on automatic basket lift: The basket is lifted out automatically.
Interrupting the acoustic signal

Press the key "1, 2, 3 or 4" or
−
wait for 10 seconds until the acoustic signal stops automatically.
The previously set time is shown and the number of the "product key" is shown on the display.
Changing settings
Changing the time and the setpoint temperature for "product keys" mode:

without storing, only for the current frying process, see page 55 chapter 7.3.2,
−
with permanent storing, see page 56 chapter 7.5
Changing acoustic signals:
