Automatic cooking time correction
The user can switch this setting off or on, see page 60 chapter 8.5
If the cooking time correction function has been activated and if you work with the short time clock or the
automatic basket lift, the control automatically extends the cooking time for large portions.
This has the benefit that you do not need to change the frying period for different filled quantities.
Determining the cooking time setting
To determine the time setting, fry 1/5 of the maximum quantity so that the cooking time correction function
can determine optimal settings.
Example: Maximum quantity 1000 grams, 1/5 is equivalent with 200 grams.
Set the required setpoint temperature for the food to be fried.
Fill frying basket with 200 grams of food to be fried.
Start short time clock with a sufficiently high cooking time setting (e.g. 10 minutes).
Insert the frying basket with the food to be fried into the bowl without time loss.
Monitor the cooking process: When the food is cooked, read and write down the displayed remaining
time.
Calculate the frying time based on the cooking time setting (e.g. 10 minutes) and the remaining. time
If the frying result is right, different quantities can be fried based on the determined time.
If you change the product to be fried, e.g. the manufacturer or switch from refrigerated to deep frozen
products, you should check the cooking time setting.
