Draining, cleaning
12.1.1 Emptying the bowl
Switch appliance off - press the “On/Off”
button and hold it for three seconds.
The indicator light in the button goes out.
Three points will light up in the display.
Wear grease and heat resistant shoes, gloves and protective clothing.
For filtering, the frying oil/frying grease must still be at least 60
°
C hot!
Draining and filtering of the frying oil/frying grease, see starting on page 61 in Chapter 9.
Empty/refill the frying oil/frying grease without a pump from the container into the bowl or into a heat-re
sistant container, see page 62 in Chapter 9.2.
12.1.2 Drain the container with pump
(pump option)
In order not to have to empty the container by hand, you can use the pump to pump the frying oil/frying
grease to be disposed of.
Preparation
Drain frying oil/frying grease into the container
and filter it; see page 61 in Chapter 9.1:
CAUTION!
Risk of burns on account of hot
surfaces! The filling tube, the drain hose, the bowl
will get hot!
Insert the drain hose between filling tube and cap.
The caps must engage perceivably and audibly.
Hold filling tube into heat-resistant vessel.
Repumping
Manual switching on and off of the pump: The
filling process must be supervised and switched off
by hand!
Switch on the pump
For dual bowl deep fat fryers, the pump is controlled
using the left control panel.
The appliance must be switched off - three points
will light up in the display.
Start the pumping procedure - press the “Temperature/Pump”
button and hold it for 3 seconds.
The indicator light in the button comes on and the pump starts.
Please observe: The intake time may last up to three minutes.
After the pump time of 5 minutes has been exceeded, the pump will be switched off automatically.
Only fill the container 3/4 full!
Switch off the pump
When 3/4 of the bowl is full or if the frying oil/frying grease has been completely pumped out of the con
tainer, switch off pump - press the button “Temperature/Pump”
and hold it for 1 second.
The indicator light in the button goes out.
Firmly close the container with a lid and label it with a notice ”hot material”.
CAUTION
Danger of slipping! Immediately clean any fat splashes off the floor.
