MAINTENANCE
To ensure safe and proper operation, examine the machine for obvious
damage before and after use. Damaged parts should be repaired or re-
placed immediately by an approved RYOBI service organization, using
RYOBI spare parts and materials.
NOTE!
The hammers and rotary hammers require regular servicing.
In regular use, to help know when servicing is required, this ma-
chine is fitted with “automatic cut-off” carbon brushes and these
carbon brushes will automatically stop the machine from running
after apporoximately 150 operating hours under normal condition
of use. This indicates that the machine requires servicing. The nec-
essary service and maintenance will include replacing the carbon
brushes, O-rings and grease. This work should be carried out quickly
and expertly by any RYOBI service shops, using genuine RYOBI
service parts.
IMPORTANT
The life time of the carbon brushes depends on the usage and envi-
ronmental conditions. Failure to carry out the maintenance work or
failure to use original RYOBI maintenance service parts may cause
malfunction of the machine and this will invalidate your warranty.
