2)
Use the cross screwdriver to tighten the screws on both ends of the power supply.
3)
Install the power defense shedding button and bind up the power cords to prevent the inserted power cord from
shedding.

power supply module
The total power of power supplies configured for the RG-12000 series Ethernet switches must be greater
than the operating power of the host. Otherwise, some modules cannot be started normally.
The host power consumption is the sum of power consumption of all modules configured on the host,
including the management engine module, service module, and fan module. The power consumption of each
module is available in this manual.
The M12000P-48GT/4SFP-EA supports the PoE function, with a maximum power of 15.4W output per port.
The maximum power consumption is 121+15.4 x N: the “121” indicates the power consumption of a board
itself and “15.4 x N” indicates output PoE power. “N” indicates the number of PoE ports actually used by the
user and its value range is 0
≤
N
≤
48. The “15.4” indicates the maximum power consumption of external PoE
devices and is defined in IEEE802.3af (PoE specification). The user can calculate this value according to the
power consumption of PDs actually used.
Grounding
A PGND is installed on the back of RG-S12000. You must first connect the PGND to the grounding terminal of the cabinet
and then connect the grounding terminal to the grounding bar of the equipment room.
Precautions
The sectional area of the grounding cable should be determined according to the possible maximum current. Cables
of good conductor should be used.
Do not use bare wire.
The grounding resistance for combined grounding should be less than 1
Ω
.
