The M12000-CM adopts the CR2032 lithium battery. The device may explode if a wrong battery model is
used. Used batteries should be properly disposed of.

The M12000-CM III is the management engine module of the RG-S12000 switches and is designed with management
and switching functions.

External Interface
The M12000-CM III module provides four external interfaces:
USB interface: By connecting to the USB interface, USB storage devices can store logs, host version, alarms and
other diagnosis information, facilitating online upgrade of switch software and storage of logs.
To secure data and prevent damage to the device, it is recommended to use high-quality flash disks
produced by reliable manufacturers. The USB interface is compatible with most USB controllers but may be
unable to identify some USB disk models.
SD (Secure Digital Memory Card) interface: By connecting to the SD interface, SD memory cards can store logs, host
version, alarms and other diagnosis information, facilitating online upgrade of switch software and storage of logs.
