Power supply
The RG-S12000 switch adopts A.C. power supply input. The switch currently provides two types of power supply modules,
the RG-PA1200I and the RG-PA2000I. The two types of power supply modules support power management. The
RG-S12000 switch's management engine can read the power supply's power information and manage the whole
machine's power flexibly and intelligently through the power management strategy.
The RG-S12000 switch supports 1+1 power supply redundancy to improve the whole system's operating
stability and reliability. We recommend users to configure 1+1 redundancy for power supply modules.
Heat dissipation system
The operating environment temperature of the RG-S12000 switch ranges between 0 and 50°C. The thermal design must
satisfy the requirement on the device's reliability in the temperature range while ensuring the device's safety and
maintainability. According to the thermal design of the RG-S12000 switch, fans are used to draw air for forced convection
cooling in order to ensure that the device works properly in the specified environment.
