Pulses in use (D918)
This is the actual number of pulses transmitted in the previous burst of pulses.
Note
The factory default setting is to automatically decide the number of pulses in a burst for
optimum performance (see Target Pulses on
Field Communicator or AMS
To view the number of pulses being used in a burst:
1.
From the
Home
screen, select 3: Service Tools.
2.
Select 1: Alerts.
3.
Select 2: Diagnostic Data.
4.
Select 3: Operation.
5.
Select 3: Pulses In Use D918.
6.
When finished, press EXIT to exit to the previous menu.
Note
This is also available at the Fast Key sequence 2, 2, 7, 5, 2
(see
Appendix D: Field Communicator
for a full menu map).
Rosemount 3490 Series Control Unit
To view the number of pulses being used in a burst:
1.
From the
Main Menu
screen, select MONITOR.
2.
Select the transmitter (e.g. “
Tx1: 3107
”).
3.
Select DIAGNOSTICS.
4.
Select OPERATION.
5.
Select Pulses In Use.
6.
When finished, select “
Quit
” to exit to the previous menu.
