5. Installation of surveillance camera
5.1. Hardware installation
In order to carry out the first settings in the IP surveillance camera, the network cable must be connected to the router. A
wireless connection via WLAN is only available once this has been set up in the surveillance camera using the cable connec-
tion.
Plug the suppliednetwork cable into camera and router as shown in the illustrations.
The network connection of the surveillance camera contains two control LEDs.
•
Yellow:
Indicates that network activity is taking place.
• Green:
Indicates that the surveillance camera is connected to a network.
Note:
• If your router does not contain a port for connecting the network cable, the surveillance camera can also be set up
without a router.
• For this purpose deactivate all networks existing on your computer and plug the network cable of the surveillance
camera directly into the computer. You can also access the surveillance camera via the program Rollei
SafetyCam
