If the problem persists, try performing normal cleaning again. If the printer has been used for a long
period, dot drop-outs may not be fixed even after performing normal cleaning two or three times.

Step 6 : Starting O utp ut

Check that you can perform communication through the Ethernet interface.
Communication is possible if the status LED on the Ethernet connector located on the side of the
printer lights up in green.

This flashes in yellow while data is
being received from the network.
S t a t u s L E D
This indicates the status of the com-
munication function. When it lights
in green, communication is possible.

If [SETUP] is not lit, the loading lever has been raised. Lower the loading lever.
