Troubleshooting
P rint H eads Stop Moving
If the p rint-head carriage stop s over the p laten, tak e action immediately to p revent the heads
f rom dry ing out.
W
hat to Do First
Switch the sub power off, then back on again. If the media is jammed, also remove the media.
If the print heads move to the home position (inside the cover R), it means the operation has ended successfully.
If the P rint H eads Still Do Not Move
Try switching off the main power, then again switching on the main power, followed by the sub power.
If the P rint H eads Still Do Not Move
If the heads still do not move, carry out the following emergency response measure, and then contact your
authorized Roland DG Corp. dealer.
