Installing the Spectrum Scale Client

Ethernet

 by using the following command:

For a dual Mellanox network card:

For a single port Mellanox network card:

Type in

 to apply the Ethernet mode.

Now you can proceed with the network settings.

Mellanox Network Card Configuration

Perform the following steps:

1.

Open the "Mellanox ConnectX-5 VPI Adapter Properties".

2.

Disable "IPv6" in the Ethernet properties.

3.

Set a static IPv4 network address that is in the address area of your 
GPFS cluster.
