6.4 Remote Control
You can control the R&S EVSF1000, including data transfer, remotely from a PC
using the LAN connection (Fast Ethernet).
See Chapter 6.2, "Basic Connection Settings" , on page 35.
Remote control is performed using predefined remote commands which are sent
from the control PC to the R&S
EVSF1000. The R&S EVSF1000 can also return
queried data to the control PC.
While in remote control, the R&S EVSF1000 display indicates "Remote" in the
status bar. During remote control, the instrument is locked for manual operation
via VNC. To return to manual operation, press [ESC].
