To descrease the display update rate

1. Press the DISPLAY key.

The "Display Settings" dialog box is opened.

2. Under "Display Update Rate", select "Slow".

The display is updated less frequently, and performance for measurements
should improve. When data transfer is no longer a problem, you can set the
update rate back to "Fast" in the same way.
