If comments are not set as required and you do not wish
to add a comment to the test result, touch
to return
to the
Main Menu
.
Remove the test strip and dispose of it in accordance with
applicable regulations and directives for disposal of
potentially infectious samples and materials.
Adding comments
You can add up to three comments to a test result.
Comments can provide, for example, additional
information about the test conditions or the patient.
The meter can be configured so that comments are
always required, required depending on the result range,
optional, or disabled. You can call up the function for
adding comments directly in the results screen. If com-
ments are set as required, the meter will not accept an
empty comment field.
Test results are also saved when the meter is powered
off in the results screen or when it powers off auto-
matically.
Of these three comments only one can be a custom
comment; the others can be selected from the prede-
fined comments list.
