Chimney has a main importance for the
correct working of a wood fired cooker.
The cookers work at their best only if the
chimney matches the building laws. Call an
experienced technician or a local chimney- sweeper for every problem dealing the
chimney, the exhaust-pipe and connection
with the cooker.
2.2 CHIMNEY
Chimney must match the existing laws. The
diameter of the exhaust-pipe must be 15
or 16 cm. The connection to a flue shorter
than 4 m is not allowed. Other data useful
for the dimensioning of the flue are in chap-
ter 6. The cooker must not be connected to a shared flue, moreover the connection
should be linear as more as possible, with-
out horizontal parts (see picture 3).
