4th/5th Mirror Home Position Error
(A203 copier only)
The 4th/5th mirror home position sensor’s output
remains HIGH (actuated) for 4.0 seconds after the
4th/5th mirror assembly leaves the home position.

Optics Thermistor Error
The optics thermistor is defective (open).

Fusing Warm-up Error
The temperature detected by the thermistor does not
reach 150

C within 25 seconds after the main switch is
turned on.
SP97 must be
performed to clear
this service call
condition.

Fusing Overheat
The temperature detected by the thermistor becomes
higher than 230

C.

Fusing Error
The temperature detected by the thermistor does not

C within 12 seconds when the fusing
lamp is turned on continuously in the main motor off
condition.

The temperature detected by the thermistor does not

turned on.

The overflow counter reached 80 k copies or the toner
cartridge was replaced 10 times.

The DF CPU does not receive a DF timing pulse within
100 milliseconds.
Main Switch Error
The main switch does not turn off within 8.5 seconds
after the auto shut off signal is sent to the main switch.
