GENERAL:
To conserve energy, the copier automatically turns "OFF" 30 minutes after the last copy job has been
completed. The details of the machine operation are as follows:

AUTO OFF MODE To automatically turn "OFF" the copier, a new type of Main Switch with an
incorporated coil is used. When the CPU drops CN126-1 from +24V to 0, the
Main Switch contact is opened. The Point-to-Point wiring diagram and connector
layout are shown below.

SP MODE The following SP modes have been added to the Field Service Manual. Replace
page 4-13 and 4-22 of the Field Service Manual with the updated pages provided
with this package.
Mode No. Function Settings
SP14 Auto off time can be selected 0 : 30 minutes (default)
1 : 15 minutes
2 : 1 hour
3 : 1.5 hours
4 : 2 hours
SP9-7 Output Check for the Main Switch
(the machine will turn "OFF")
The Auto Off time can also be selected by the customer. Refer to page 2 of this bulletin for the pr ocedure.
