The cycle counter stores the number of OPEN/CLOSE actions powered by the drive. To read the meter, hold the button (C

) at the drive head for 3 seconds until you see a figure.

The digital display shows the numbers starting from the highest to the lowest decimal place consecutively. At the end, a horizontal line appears on the display, for example: 3456 movements,

3 4 5 6 –.

8.1

Check of the drive

NOTICE

An inspection is not the same as maintenance! After an inspection, the user must do any necessary maintenance.

NOTICE

For your safety, we recommend that the door system be checked before initial use and as needed – at least once a year
The check can be carried out by a qualified technician.

• The manufacturer's specified inspection and maintenance intervals must be observed.

• Observe all applicable national regulations.
• All inspection and maintenance work must be documented.
• The operating company / owner is obliged to store the inspection and test report together with the documentation of the drive for the entire service life of the system.
•  The installer must fill out the log book completely and give it to the operating company / owner before the operating company / owner puts the system into service. This recommendation

includes manually operated doors.

• All guidelines and instructions for the garage door drive (installation, operation and maintenance, etc.) must be followed.
• The manufacturer’s guarantee becomes null and void in the event that inspection/maintenance has not been carried out.
• Alterations to the garage door drive (in as far as permitted) must also be documented.

Maintenance / checks

NOTICE

For your safety, we recommend that the door system be checked before initial use and as needed – at least once a year
The check must be carried out by a qualified technician.

9.1

Monthly monitoring of the force limits

The drive has a 2-processor safety system to monitor the force limits. In an end position or after a restart, the integrated power disconnection is tested automatically.

 WARNING

Crush hazard at the door!

If the force limits are set too high, there is a risk of personal injury.
The factory setting is "6" for opening and "4" for closing.
•

The impact force on the main closure side must not exceed 400 N / 750 ms!

Check the force limits every month as described in chapter "Checking the force limits" .

WEEE - Information for users

If the crossed-out bin symbol appears on the equipment or packaging, this means the product must not be included with other general waste at the end of its working life. The user must take the worn
product to a sorted waste center, or return it to the retailer when purchasing a new one. Products for disposal can be consigned free of charge (without any new purchase obligation) to retailers with a
sales area of at least 400 m2, if they measure less than 25 cm. An efficient sorted waste collection for the environmentally friendly disposal of the used device, or its subsequent recycling, helps avoid
the potential negative effects on the environment and people’s health, and encourages the re-use and/or recycling of the construction materials.

Materials must be disposed of in accordance with the regulations in force. Do not throw away your discarded equipment or used batteries with household waste. You are responsible for taking all your

waste electrical and electronic equipment to a suitable recycling centre.
