NOTICE
Check the supplied screws and wall plugs to make sure that they are suitable for the structural condition on the installation site.
4.4
Preparing for installation
CAUTION
Impact or falling hazard!
Persons can be hit or knocked over by the garage door.
Ensure that the door does not project into public footpaths or roads.
CAUTION
Crush hazard!
Some parts of the latching devices on the existing garage door can form pinch or shear points.
•
If necessary, remove hazardous parts before installation.
• A socket must be installed on site for power supply. The supplied power cable is approx. 1.2 m long.
• Check the door for stability and re-tighten the screws and nuts on the door.
• Check the door for correct movement and lubricate the shafts and bearings. Additionally, also check the pretension of the springs, and adjust if necessary.
• Establish the clearance at opening or closing of the garage door (h).

• Dismantle any door latches (bolt plate and catches).
• For garages without a second entrance, an emergency release (accessory ACZ9010) is required.
• If the garage door has a built-in pass door, a safety contact must be installed to prevent movement with the pass door open.
4.5
Mounting the garage door drive
Follow the drawings as shown on the Assembly Manual.

Fold out the guide sections (3 and 8).
Push the rail connector (7) centrally over the sections in order to join them.
If necessary, the belt can be re-tensioned.

Mount the central attachment (13) to the guide.
Mount the mounting brackets (18) on the drive head (1).

Mount the towing attachment (11) to the garage door.

Mount the attachment (10) to wall, 2cm minimum over the maximum height of the moving part during the movement.

Secure the guide rail (3 and 8) to the wall attachment (10).
Mount the iron plates with slotted holes (16) to the center suspension (13) and to the drive head (1).
Then, secure the iron plates with slotted holes (16) to the ceiling.

Mount the traction bar (12) between the carriage (4) and the towing attachment (11).

For electric cabling and programming, open the cover of the drive head with a screwdriver or a similar tool.

Attach the warning sticker (19) to the garage door so that it is clearly visible.
4.5.1
Disengage the carriage
NOTICE
The ball handle must be located 1,80 m max. above the floor.
During assembly, it may be necessary to disengage the carriage from the connector attachment. This can be done without the need to disconnect the linking bar.
