Explanation of the knee lever function 

It must be said right at the beginning that the properties explained now apply not only to the 
knee lever, but that a switch, which is connected to the connections 3 and 4 of the clip 
machine power point, (e.g. a clip machine having a start switch) gives rise to the same 
reactions.
