POST MAX. SYS. RESETS
NOTE the screen should also
display the text:
THE FOLLOWING SYSTEM
ERRORS HAVE OCCURRED:
MAX RESETS IN 24HRS.
PLEASE SWITCH UNIT OFF
The system has detected 5 soft resets early in the UI processor POST, or the
system declared a system error because 3 resets occurred in the last 24 hours.
1. Check all internal cables.
2. Examine the significant event log for recent error codes that might indicate a
controller PCB or user interface PCB problem.
3. Replace the user interface PCB.
4. Replace the controller PCB.

INDICATOR FAILURE
The screen should also display
INDICATOR FAILURE
User interface processor detected faulty LED during POST.
1. Enter Diagnostics mode and use the System Test screen to test and identify
the faulty LED.
2. Replace the user interface PCB.

POST ABNORMAL RESTART
The system has detected an unexpected soft reset.
1. Examine the significant event log for recent error codes that might indicate a
controller PCB or user interface PCB problem.
2. Replace the user interface PCB.
3. Replace the controller PCB.

POST VBATTERY MON FAIL
The screen should also display
BATTERY VOLTAGE FAILURE
User interface processor detected that the VBATT test failed during POST.
1. If running on battery, ensure that the battery is fully charged.
2. Check if the problem occurs during AC and battery operation.
3. Enter Diagnostics mode and use the Sensor Readings screen to check the
voltage and ADC readings.
4. Replace the user interface PCB.

POST 3_3VMON FAIL
User interface processor detected that the 3.3V test failed during POST.
1. If running on battery, ensure that the battery is fully charged.
2. Check if the problem occurs during AC and battery operation.
3. Enter Diagnostics mode and use the Sensor Readings screen to check the
voltage and ADC readings.
4. Replace the user interface PCB.

The screen should also display
5.0V VOLTAGE RAIL FAILED
User interface processor detected that the 5.0V test failed during POST.
1. If running on battery, ensure that the battery is fully charged.
2. Check if the problem occurs during AC and battery operation.
3. Enter Diagnostics mode and use the Sensor Readings screen to check the
voltage and ADC readings.
4. Replace the user interface PCB.

POST 12VMON FAIL
The screen should also display
12V VOLTAGE RAIL FAILED
User interface processor detected that the 12V test failed during POST.
1. If running on battery, ensure that the battery is fully charged.
2. Check if the problem occurs during AC and battery operation.
3. Enter Diagnostics mode and use the Sensor Readings screen to check the
voltage and ADC readings.
4. Replace the user interface PCB.
