4.4.3

Battery Replacement

Follow these steps to replace the battery (Figure 4-2):

1. Turn the system 

OFF (O) 

and disconnect the DC power supply.

2. Remove the two screws that secure the battery compartment door.

3. Remove the old battery: remove from the compartment and unplug the 

cable.

4. Install the new battery: plug in the cable and install the battery into 

the compartment.

5. Replace the battery compartment door and screws.

6. Reconnect the DC power supply.

7. Allow sufficient time to fully charge the new battery (Battery is fully 

charged when the
