B.6.4 TC 2163 Projector Unit (Optional)
The TC 2163 bathymetry projector unit operates at the frequency of 200kHz and
produces a narrow beam that is approximately 2° along-track by 142° across-track. The
entire 128° swath is illuminated in one transmission, with the maximum ping rate of 50Hz
providing 100% bottom coverage even at high vessel speed.
