Make the bottom edges
of the rails flush with
the edge of your work
surface. If you are working
on the floor, make sure
the bottom of the rails are
aligned with each other.
Align the rails so that they
are parallel and sitting 11
7/8” apart from outside
edge to outside edge, as
shown.
Place your electrical box
on top of the rails, as
shown. Align the bottom
edge of the box with the
mark made 3” from the
bottom of the rails.
