4.3. Motor, motor mount and optical RPM probe
The motor mount plate is an important component for the Series 1780 Dynamometer. It is a
connection between the motor and the load measurement unit. It transfers thrust and
torque, and provides a multi-adaptive mounting points to fix your motors, the optical RPM
probe and can also be used for the calibration checker bar.

Please make sure to first fix the motor and the optical RPM probe on the motor mount before
installing the whole structure onto the load measurement unit.
