SECTION 7: AIR HANDLER ASSEMBLY
For models 4024 - 4049, the b u rner and fan sections of the air handler are shipped as one piece. Filter
section and/or filter mix box can be mo u nted to air handler w hen req u ested.
For models 4054 - 4089, the b u rner and fan sections of the air handler are shipped as t w o pieces that
req u ire field-assembly. To assemble, u se the s u pplied hard w are and bolt the fan section to the b u rner section
thro u gh pre-drilled holes. S u pplied hard w are m u st be torq u ed to recommended specifications on Table 1,
Page 8 .
Ca u lk (pro v ided by others) the sides, roof and bottom seams bet w een the fan section and b u rner section.

NOTE: After the eq u ipment sections are set together (if shipped separately), connection of the electrical
cond u ctors bet w een the sections is req u ired. The cond u ctors are n u mbered on both ends. Join the
cond u ctors like n u mbers. The q u antity of cond u ctors s u pplied v aries w ith the selected options. In addition,
motor-s u pply cond u ctors m u st be connected to the fan motor of model sizes 4054-4073. See Page 37,
Section 7.4
.
