Wire the chassis ground connections:
9.
Connect a 5” #20 green wire from both center pins on the “RCA/XLR” switch to the ground
buss. Solder both ends and dress the wire along the bottom edge of the panel.
10.
If you have an I2S Adapter, prepare a 20” #20 green wire. Connect it to the ground buss.
The next three steps deal with XLR jacks. Note that the XLR jacks have an extra silver-colored
metal tab adjacent to pin 1. This tab is connected to the body of the jack and may be used to
make a chassis ground connection.
11.
Connect a jumper wire from pin 1 on the left output XLR connector to the adjacent ground
tab. Solder both ends.
12.
Connect a jumper wire from pin 1 on the right output XLR connector to the adjacent ground
tab. Solder both ends.
13.
If you have XLR Input connectors, connect a jumper wire from pin 1 on each input XLR
connector to the adjacent ground tab. Solder both ends.
