Section VIII – Maintenance

90 Quincy Vacuum Pump-QSV Series

4. Open the vent plug (VP) of the oil cooler.

5. Connect a hand drill or cordless screwdriver to the oil drain pump (Op).

• Insert the pump shaft into the drill chuck and tighten.

• Open the 3-way ball valve (Do).

• Activate the hand drill to drain the vessel and oil cooler.

• Collect all the oil in an oil waste can.

6. Close the oil drain valve (Do1).

7. Open the drain valve (Do2).

• Activate the hand drill to drain the element and outlet housing.

• Collect all the oil in an oil waste can.

• Close the drain valve (Do2).
