PiXtend eIO Hardware Manual

In the RS485 bus, a terminating resistor of 120 Ω must be connected at both ends of the
line or bus structure (first and last bus node).

If PiXtend eIO is one of these bus ends, the DIP switch "T" (stands for "Termination") must
be set to "ON".
