PiXtend eIO Hardware Manual

Similarly, the potential equalization between several power supplies (GND connection
between all power supplies, which supply devices on the bus) must not be omitted!

Summary:

•

Make the conductor cross section for the supply connections larger in case of doubt
(we recommend 0.75 or 1.00 mm²)

Separate wiring of each module from the supply point / ground point

•

Supply of the digital outputs also with two lines and provided with external fuse (see
also page 94 and following)

•

Connect GNDs of all power supplies together (central ground point)

•

Separate GND line for supply - independent of the RS485 lines
