PiXtend eIO Hardware Manual

If the connection cables are connected in reverse polarity, that is not tragic. PiXtend eIO
has reverse polarity protection, which prevents damage to components. However, PiXtend
eIO only works if the cables are connected correctly.

Note!

Before using the power supply for the first time, pay attention to
the enclosed safety instructions of the respective manufacturer!

The power supply can now be plugged into a 115 or 230 V AC socket.
The green LED with the designation "+5V" starts to light up and signals the presence of
the operating voltage.
