6.5.1.1  Analog Voltage Inputs

Before use, check the jumper position and adjust if necessary. Of course you can always 
stay in the 10 V range (no jumper - factory setting) and thus enjoy the greater flexibility and
robustness of the inputs. In the 5 V range (jumper plugged), however, the same resolution 
is available for a smaller measuring range. When it comes to accuracy, that can be very 
helpful.

How to set the jumper correctly and if necessary to open the device is described in chapter
5.1 from page 33 and following.
