Optional Equipment Configuration

ViewStation User Guide

Enter the

Site Name

of the StreamStation in the

Data

Conference

field (Center text field).

Re-start the ViewStation.

You have now completed the installation process.

To verify that the ViewStation is properly working with the
StreamStation over the LAN, follow the steps described below:

Using the ViewStation remote control, select

System Info >

Diagnostics > Advanced Stats

On the

Advanced Statistics

screen, verify that there is a “+”

next to the Data conference listing. If there is a minus sign, the
ViewStation is not configured to work with the StreamStation.

Troubleshooting Hints:

Verify that the site name that you entered in Step 4 above is exactly
the same as the site name on the StreamStation.

Verify that both systems are properly installed on the LAN by pinging
each IP address from your desktop system.

If they are both accessible on the LAN, make sure both systems are
on the same LAN segment and subnet, otherwise both systems may
have difficulty locating each other over the LAN.
