Network Setting
Make the settings for the captureboard’s IP address, the FTP server’s IP address, etc.
(For instructions on displaying the screen, see “Basic Setting Operations” step 3 on page E-36.)

IP address
Change the captureboard’s IP address. Use a fixed IP address for the
captureboard. When connecting to a network using the DHCP of a rout-
er, etc., change the IP address to one that is outside of the automatic
acquisition range

Subnet Mask
Set the captureboard’s subnet mask.

Default Gateway
Set the captureboard’s default gateway.

Folder for saving
Set the folder in which the captureboard’s scanned images are saved.
Board: The images are saved on the captureboard.
FTP Server: The images are saved in the specified folder on the FTP
server.

FTP User Name
This is the user name registered on the FTP server. This is required for
the captureboard to log in to the FTP server and save image files.

FTP Password
This is the password registered on the FTP server. This is required for the
captureboard to log in to the FTP server and save image files.

FTP Server IP Address
Input the FTP server’s IP address.

FTP Server Port
This is the FTP server’s standard control port number.
Normally use with this number. If the FTP server’s port number has been
changed, change this following the instructions of the network adminis-
trator.

FTP Save Directory Name
Input the name of the subfolder in the FTP server folder in which image
files are saved.

Setup
When the [Setup] button is clicked, the above settings/changes are sent
to the captureboard, overwriting previous settings.
Once overwriting is completed, the display switches to the “Setup is
completed. Rebooting. Wait for a while.” character display.
If the IP address, subnet mask or default gateway have been changed,
the captureboard automatically reboots.
During rebooting, the captureboard’s display window LEDs flash in circu-
lar motion. Wait until they turn off.
