6.5.2 - IN-LINE EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

WITH SPACER

The equipment can be installed by inserting a spacer. This configuration is used to service the reinforced gasket without
removing the regulator from the line.

Step Action

1

Place the equipment in the section of the line designated for it.

2

Place the gaskets between the line flange and the upstream regulator flange.

3

Insert the bolts into the appropriate holes of the upstream connecting flanges.

4

Place a gasket between the spacer and the regulator.

5

Place a gasket between the spacer and the downstream pipe flange.

6

Insert the bolts into the appropriate holes of the downstream connecting flanges.

7

Screw the bolts following the technical rules for tightening flanges.
