page 123 and there is information about event filters in the Network Discovery
User Guide .
Step 5 Change the Peregrine appliance’s default password (“Appliance”) in the
configuration interface.
This is a documented password, known to:

Admin accounts at your site
„
existing and prospective Network Discovery customers
Anyone who knows the default password will be able to change the SNMP MIB
of your Peregrine appliance.
