GENERAL ASPECTS
This manual must always be kept with the appliance it refers to and kept in an accessible place so that it can be consulted by the
staff in charge with the use and maintenance of the system. We recommend the installer/user to carefully read the instructions
and information included in this manual before starting to use the product, so as to avoid damage, improper use of the appli-
ance or cancellation of the provided warranty. The manufacturer declines whatsoever responsibility in the event of accidents or
damage due to negligence or failure to follow the instructions contained in this manual or to use in conditions other than those
indicated by the rating plate. It also declines whatsoever responsibility for damage caused by improper use of the electric pump.
Do not subject to weights or other packages when packing.
DESCRIPTION OF THE SYSTEM
The FLUID SOLAR pumping system has been devised to pump clean water from a well making use of energy produced by photo-
voltaic panels to fill a tank.
The electronic control integrated in the brushless motor converts the output voltage from the panels and regulates the motor
rotation speed so as to exploit the energy delivered by the panels to the maximum: on a sunny day the rotation speed will be
elevated with high pump performance, while on a cloudy day the speed will be reduced. The motor has an integrated control logic
that stops the pump from switching on when the solar radiation is too low for it to operate correctly.
The panels are connected in series forming strings. Each string is connected to the control panel through a suitable connection
cable. The pump is connected to the control panel through a connection cable put together with the pump power cable by means
of the resin joint. The whole plant is connected to ground.

SAFETY
Before carrying out any control or maintenance activities, switch off the plant power supply.
Avoid contact between the electric power supply and the liquid to be pumped. The FLUID SOLAR electric pumps are not suitable
for pumping flammable liquids or for operating in areas subject to explosion hazard.
Do not modify the electric pump components. Never support or transport the electric pump by its power supply cable. The FLUID
SOLAR electric pumps must not be used by children or people with reduced physical, sensorial or mental capacities, or lacking
experience and knowledge, unless they have been instructed and supervised correctly. Children should be kept under control to
avoid them playing with the appliance.
PRELIMINARY INSPECTION
Extract it from the packaging and check its integrity.
The kit is composed of:
• 4’’ submersible electric pump with brushless motor and integrated electronic control, with 2 metre long power cable
• Control panel
• Electrical cable resin joint
• N° 2 male connectors type SMK (MC4 compatible)
• N° 2 female connectors type SMK (MC4 compatible)
• N° 2 Y female/male-male connectors type MC4 (only for FLUID SOLAR with
P1=1500 W
)
• N° 2 Y male/female-female connectors type MC4 (only for FLUID SOLAR with
P1=1500 W
)
Crimping equipment is not required.
Also check that the rating plate data correspond to the desired ones. In case of faults contact the supplier immediately providing
a description of the faults in question.
